A couple of weeks ago, SACSA announced me as their 2019 Dissertation of the Year Award winner. I will be sharing the findings from my dissertation study at the 2019 SACSA conference.
I would like to first say thank you SACSA for recognizing my work and I want to say this honor is all because of the sistas who shared their stories with me for my dissertation project. I am because we are, so thank you. Lastly, huge thank you’ to my chair Dr. D. Means, and my committee, for getting me across the finish line.
